Choose your difficulty

10 leaves per game, drawn from 37 North American trees. Use your mouse, tap, or press number keys 1–6.

How scoring works

  • Correct answer: 100 points, plus a speed bonus of up to 100 more the greener the leaf still is.
  • Streaks: every correct answer in a row adds ×0.25 to your multiplier, up to ×2.
  • Too slow or wrong: 0 points and your streak resets, but you’ll learn a fun fact about the tree.
  • Your best score for each difficulty is saved in this browser only.

Leaves are stylized drawings; real leaves vary in shape and size. In nature, autumn color comes as trees stop making green chlorophyll, revealing yellow and orange pigments. Reds come from new pigments called anthocyanins.
