Pre-Algebra
The math of parts, patterns, and mystery numbers.
This is a free pre-algebra course for middle school, grades 6–8. Pre-algebra is the bridge between the arithmetic you already know and the algebra you’ll meet in high school.
Each topic explains one big idea with pictures, walks through examples step by step, and ends with practice that tells you right away how you did. We start with fractions, because they show up everywhere: recipes, sports stats, music, and money.
