Physics
Why things move, stop, fall and fly.
Physics is the science of matter, energy, force and motion. It explains why a ball curves through the air, why a seatbelt saves lives and how a rocket reaches orbit, often with a few short rules and a little algebra.
These free lessons are written for high school students and anyone reviewing before a test. Each unit explains one big idea with original diagrams and real-world examples, works through problems step by step, and ends with a quiz.

Future units will build on Newton's laws. Check back, or watch the School section on the Jugami home page for new lessons.
About these lessons
Every unit lists its sources at the end, and quotations come from public-domain texts. All diagrams are original SVG drawings made for Jugami. Quizzes save your best score only on your own device.
Physics connects to the rest of science. Electric forces hold atoms together in the molecules chemists study, and forces from your muscles move every part of your body.
